Tarangire game driveBaobab woodlandPrivate safari vehicle

Leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park, a northern-circuit park known for baobab woodland, seasonal wetlands and large elephant populations. Continue to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Experience & Practical Details

Baobab woodland, open savannah and the Tarangire River shape much of the park landscape.

Elephants are a major feature of Tarangire, while other wildlife varies with season and water availability.

The guide normally adjusts game-drive direction according to recent wildlife activity and road conditions.

Ngorongoro Crater is a large volcanic caldera with grassland, woodland, wetlands and permanent water sources on the crater floor.

Full-day game driveMigration tracking by current conditionsWildlife photography opportunities

Spend the day following wildlife activity in the selected Serengeti sector. Migration movements are controlled by rainfall and fresh grazing, so locations vary from year to year. The guide uses current local information to decide where to focus the game drive.

Along with wildebeest and zebra, the ecosystem supports lions, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and many smaller species. No specific crossing, hunt or animal sighting can be promised.

Experience & Practical Details

Ngorongoro Crater is a large volcanic caldera with grassland, woodland, wetlands and permanent water sources on the crater floor.

The crater descent and ascent are controlled through designated access roads, so timing is planned around park operating conditions.

Wildlife is concentrated in a relatively compact area, but sightings remain natural and cannot be guaranteed.

Serengeti habitats include open plains, acacia woodland, river systems and granite kopjes used by many species for shade and observation.

Second full day in SerengetiFlexible seasonal routingNo guaranteed river crossing

A second full day allows more time to explore without rushing between parks. Depending on the month, the route may focus on southern short-grass plains, the central Seronera area, the western corridor or northern Serengeti. The extra day is especially useful when wildlife is dispersed or when road conditions require a slower approach.

Return to camp or lodge in the late afternoon or early evening.
